Accountability - by Cope Reynolds

I posted a video on YouTube some time back entitled, "Accountability". It refers to the overreach and unconstitutional acts of certain agencies and individuals and the lack of accountability. It probably bears a little explanation. There is a catch-phrase that has been around for many years but seems to be used a little more frequently over the last few years and that is, “It is my constitutional right...” or “We have a constitutional right” or something along those lines. Both phrases or anything similar are incorrect because you have no constitutional rights. Not even one. Oh, I can hear it now! “That guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about! I have a constitutional right to keep and bear arms! I have a constitutional right to do this or that!” No, I’m sorry but you don’t. What you have are God-given rights that you were born with that are protected from the government by the United States Constitution. No man or group of men is powerful enough to take those rights away. Man cannot take what your Creator has given you upon your birth. You can only give them away. That being said, as was mentioned by Dear Leader some years ago, the Constitution is just a piece of paper. It is useless and powerless in and of itself. Just like a restraining order cannot stop a deranged killer, the Constitution cannot stop an out-of-control government from riding rough- shod over the citizens of this country. That is our job. I sincerely believe that our constitution and this country CAN still be saved peacefully and without bloodshed. Do I think it WILL? No, no I don't, but I think it can. Some will say, in an effort to justify their feelings of frustration, that the opposition has already fired the first shot I suppose that they have if you get right down to it. Waco, Ruby Ridge and a plethora of unjustified attacks on citizens who may have committed only a minor infraction of some kind, if even anything at all. Yeah, maybe that could be considered the “first shot”. If you think it’s time to deliver the second shot, you'd better be damned sure that’s what you want to do before you make that next move. There will be no turning back. It will not be a 9 to 5 endeavor with weekends off. It is imperative that everyone tries to work on the same side here because we have more that just one fish to fry. Now, back to what I said earlier. Yes, I still think we can reverse the damage that has been done without bloodshed. Unlikely, but possible. In order for that to take place, a few things are going to have to happen... First and foremost, the people of this country, particularly the youth, MUST become educated on the constitution and their rights. If you don't know what your rights are, you don't have any! Secondly, they MUST be willing to make a some sacrifices as far as time, money and effort to help educate others and to get involved and make their voices heard. Rallies, protests, townhall meetings, city council meetings, etc. Go and make your voice heard, share your views and opinions with others. Know what the law is and present it in an intelligent, articulate manner. STAND YOUR GROUND WHEN YOU KNOW YOU ARE RIGHT! Thirdly, our law enforcement officers and military are going to need to re- read their oath and decide if they are going to abide by it or not. If not, they automatically switch sides. If they are not with us, they are against us and this is where things get complicated. None of us wants this thing to get out of hand and become violent. Not them, not us. If you do, you're an idiot. On the one hand, it may take violence to resolve the issues but on the other, if it does, it will be the very worst thing that has ever happened to this country. To ANY country! To that end, we simply MUST exhaust all possible peaceful solutions. Constitutional sheriffs are a major factor in resolving this dilemma. We need to elect and support men and women that we KNOW will support and defend the Constitution of the United States! If we can do that, and we must try, we may still be able to pull this off peacefully. I have extreme hopes that this can happen.... but little expectation. Whatever happens, whenever it happens, I continue to pray that everyone involved will use good judgement and think about the consequences to all before any rash decisions are made. There are two options left. Maybe we’ll discuss those one day soon...
