Barreling at Brubaker Arms is done between centers, with the steady rest locked against the shoulder during the actual cutting.  

Chambers are cut to minimum spec and lightly polished to assure smooth cycling.  

 

We do everything from a simple rechambering all the way to full barrel installation.  

Full installation includes cutting & threading the barrel shank to fit your action followed by chambering.  

Recessed shanks (M70, 700, etc) require additonal machining as do extractor slots.
